I purchased four of these cables to use with external solid state drives. They have worked very well. I have only observed 10Gbps with my drives, because that is the maximum they will go - I have yet to get an external drive that is rated at 20Gbps. The cables feel solid and well made. They were a good buy.

This gaming laptop gives you a lot for the money. It has a stellar display. The keyboard and touchpad are very good. It has all the RGB you could want. It comes with a fast 1TB NVMe m.2 drive. The drive arrived in the original box. As expected, I needed to initialize it and then format it. Using Samsung Magician I found its health listed as "Good", and that it had a record of 4TB written to it (presumably to wipe it of prior data). I ran speed tests and it performed as a brand new drive. I have so far downloaded almost 1TB of games to it, with no issue. It was good value and I would buy it again.

The "360" video of this laptop shows to have a fingerprint reader on the power button for security unlock. But when I was trying to activate that option it shows a message: "No supported device detected". Why is it not working? False advertising?
The version of this laptop sold by Best Buy does not have a fingerprint reader. The video was generic and made for several versions of the laptop.

If I turn off the S mode will it work normally or it affects its performance.. and What the consequences will be if you turn off the S mode?
A positive feature of S mode is that a number of processes deemed unnecessary will not be running. As a result, the laptop will boot a little faster, run a little faster, and have a little longer battery life. Try it for a little while and then make the decision whether to stay on it or not.

I don't think it matters what generation the core processor is - just find a case for a 15.6inch laptop that you like.

Is there an LINE input jack on this unit?
On many laptop machines, the headset output jack can be
configured in the Device Manager to serve as a stereo
input jack. That is how I got my laptop (an hp) to work with the program Audacity. It blew my mind when I learned about this!

Do I need a technician to set this laptop up. I'm not super technical but my previous laptop was a Lenovo. And I just do the basics. No games or stuff like that. Just email and favorite websites.
