This monitor is excellent for editing photos and slides.
It has incredibly accurate color rendition right out
of the box. It has an aspect ratio of 16:10, which is
better for processing my photos and slides than the
usual 16:9 aspect ratio. The 24 inch screen is perfect
for my work. Its 1920X1200 resolution is well matched
to my work needs. To top it all off it provides a built in
4 port usb hub, as well as a stand that has a remarkable
degree of positioning capability.

large capacity, external, hard drives. This 20TB drive
is well suited for the task. Its only shortcoming is
that it heats up to more than 50deg C during the
long backup time, if left to its own devices. I have
fixed this issue by positioning a pair of 80mm fans
beneath it, to force cool air into its housing (see photo).

The drive also performs well for a hard drive, as can
be seen in the results of a Crystal Disk Mark speed
test. The temperature at the start of the test was
24 deg C. At the end of the test it was 33 deg C, and
dropped to 25 deg C just 3 minutes after the end
of the test. The fans are very effective.

This chair fills my needs as a tall (6 ft 1 in) and somewhat

The chair itself is heavy (57 lb) and arrives in a fairly
massive box (62 lb). The box arrived showing some
wear (photos), which is to be expected for one of
its weight and size. However, the contents were
very well packed and in excellent condition.

I recommend that assembly be done on a large, clear
area of floor - and that an old sheet be spread over that
surface to protect the chair during assembly. I carefully
unpacked the pieces, and checked against the list of
pieces. Everything was there, including the only tool
needed for assembly and a pair of very nice white
gloves to protect the very nice finish of the chair.

found the video showing assembly to be more helpful.
Working by myself and proceeding very carefully, it
took me about 90 minutes to do the unpacking, repeated

To date my main activity making use of the chair is
digitizing and editting old family slides. I keep the

I must transfer short clips from CDs to cassette tape. Can I connect jacks from my amp directly to the tape recorder, and fade-in fade-out?
With the appropriate cable or cable adapter you can plug the output from your amp directly to the AUX Input on the side of the boombox. You can then record to the cassette recorder. There are no controls on the boombox to provide fade-in fade-out, however.

Will wireless headphones work with this boombox?
The short answer is no. This boombox does not have the bluetooth out feature. It does, however, have an excellent headphone out to use with wired headphones or ear phones. I have used it with good quality headphones (Sennheiser 570) and the sound is excellent.

The boombox comes with an ac cord to plug it into a wall socket. You use it to charge the built-in internal rechargeable battery. The hours of airplay you get on a full charge will depend on how it is being used: the loudness setting for the speakers, whether you are using bluetooth, whether you are playing or recording with the cassette player/recorder. With the speakers set to moderate volume for a small room and playing the radio I have run the radio for 10 hours with no problem.

Can you record on cassette tapes when playing from Bluetooth.
Yes you can. You can stream in from a bluetooth connected device, such as a smart phone or a tablet, and record to a cassette in the boombox (or a usb stick, or a micro sd card in the boombox). As noted in a previous answer, you need to adjust the volume of the external device to get a good recording.

No. Bluetooth on this device is only for input. You can however use the Headphone port on the boombox to wire it to an external speaker. Please note that the AUX port on this boombox is only for input.

The bluetooth mode on this device allows you to stream IN only. You can not use it to stream OUT to bluetooth headphones or bluetooth speakers. However, you can use the headphone out jack on the device to connect to wired headphones or wired speakers.
