This external drive is remarkably tiny for the 2 TB it holds!
It will easily fit into even the smallest pocket of a laptop sleeve (or bag). I reformatted the drive from the exFAT it comes with to NTFS, and then performed some speed tests. I connected it to a fast USB-C port on my computer and obtained a speed of ~1000MB/s, consistent with what most others have found. This is fine for my needs. I use this drive to make backups of my laptop. I highly recommend this drive!

My new ASUS Strix G16 16 inch laptop is thick and has a large 280 Watt power brick. This backpack can easily handle both, and has plenty of space to spare! My laptop fits comfortably in the main storage area. There is even space to insert a little extra padding on the bottom and sides when making longer trips. There are three nested pockets on the front. My large 280 Watt power brick fit easily in the smallest pocket. I put its power cord in the second largest pocket, with plenty of room for my gaming mouse and my gaming pad. The largest pocket I use for papers, and a little extra padding. I was able to snatch this up on Cyber Monday for just $10 ! The backpack is well made, with a good and solid handle. I recommend this backpack.

This usb hub provides excellent value. It provides additional usb 3.0 ports, and they are far enough apart to permit use of all 4 of them at the same time. Although the cord is somewhat short, it is fine for use with laptops. It is also sturdy enough to be used in a hanging position with my pc tower. It looks and feels well made.

This briefcase is an excellent fit for my new ASUS Strix 16" gaming laptop. This laptop is considerably thicker than an ordinary 16" laptop, yet it fits comfortably into one of the main pockets of this case. It is also afforded good padding by the case. When closed up with the laptop inside, the case is a good thickness, again illustrating its padding. There is a large exterior pocket that can easily hold a mouse, a large wattage usb c charger, and an external ssd drive. The handles of the case are sturdy and comfortable to hold. There is a shoulder strap provided with the bag. I was able to get this briefcase with a considerable discount, making it an excellent buy. I highly recommend this briefcase!

Can you system update with Ethernet connection. Other Samsungs dont. Why not? App software updates can. If I am having a wireless problem and factory reset, I want to get the latest system.
You could try getting a USB-C to Ethernet Adapter, that you could plug into the USB-C port of the tablet.

Is this a good ereader
This is an excellent tablet, but may prove awkward to use as an ereader for extended periods of time. It is overly large for that purpose, has an awkward aspect ratio for that purpose, and is somewhat heavy. I have found that the Samsung Tab A7 Lite to be far more serviceable as an ereader - it is about the size and proportions of a paperback novel, and can be easily held in one hand for extended periods of time. I have both the Tab S6 Lite and the Tab A7 Lite, and am doing all my book reading with the Tab A7 Lite.

Im planning to buy these tablet to send it to the phillippines. Wer using 220volts in the phils. Here in USA we use 110 volts.
The charging plug provided is "Universal" - it works for 100-240volts, 50-60Hz. So it will work almost anywhere. However, you may need to get a simple adapter to use it with your outlets (convert the 2-prong US plug to the one you need). These can be obtained for around $10.

I know VERY little about tablets etc. I am looking for something that is light and about the size of a standard book page that I can basically read books on. Recomendations?
This tablet has a size and proportions almost the same as a paperback novel. It is light and easy to hold in one hand. I replaced my dead nook with it, and it works very well for reading my many ebooks. Unlike my dead nook, this is also capable of doing a great many other things: browsing the web, reading email, make video calls, watch YouTube videos, listen to audiobooks, .... I would recommend it for your purposes.

Will you be able to upgrade the os to Android 12?
This tablet just came out in 2021 with Android 11 installed, and Samsung is promising 3 upgrades of the operating system. I suspect an upgrade to Android 12 by summer 2022.

can you load and run apps on the sd card
Unfortunately, the answer is no. But with the 64GB model, only 18GB are occupied by the system. So you have ~46GB of storage for apps. But it would be wise to get an sd card to store photos, videos, audio, etc. I would recommend at least a 64GB micro sd card.

I need a tablet with a web cam. Do any of best buys tablets have web cams? If so, which ones?
This has a front facing camera that functions well as a web cam. I use it with Skype to make video calls. It also has a rear facing camera that works well.

Does this tablet have usb 3 for video output. Want to hdmi to monitor.
It has usb 2, and uses a type c connector. It can not be used for video output.
