I clone the system disk of one of my computers to this drive to use as a backup. I can do this relatively easily and quickly, and repeat the process every two months. I got this drive at a great price on sale. I put into an external housing with a fast USB interface. With it I get speeds of typically 400 MB/s, which are close to the maximum of 500 MB/s for this drive connected directly to the SATA inside a pc. I use it to do backups of the drives inside my tower. It is an economical means of performing this function.

I installed Skype on my tablet, and it worked well. Recipients of my calls said the audio was very good.

Yes, it does, and it works well with my Samsung S7 Edge. I have also used it with my new Jabra Elite 75t ear buds, and it maintains a solid connection throughout my medium sized apartment (over a distance of 25 feet, through 2 walls).

There is a pin port next to the port for charging the device, that you can plug a connector with a female 12 volt connection. My unit came with such a connector.
