For years I believed that I had no use for a subwoofer,

this Sony subwoofer when it was on sale, to try it out.
It turned out to be true - and brought out things I had not
heard before in the music! It made the listening
experience more pleasurable, and I am glad I made the

This drive has a power brick, which must be plugged in and connected to the drive for it to operate. The drive does not have a battery. The drive will not operate without its power supply.

The unit has an internal 180 Watt power supply. I believe you would have to replace it with a higher power supply to run such a card. I did a little research on upgrading the power supply for this machine. It is not so easy. I would recommend sticking with the built in graphics. The machine was not designed for higher end gaming.
