This is a nice light, but that has one issue.
The so called "on button", is not really a button. It is a
contact point. The light turns on when it and part of the
metallic housing are touched simultaneously. Your body
completes the circuit, and the light comes on. When the
circuit is broken, the light goes out, but only after several
seconds.

The problem that arises is that most people will have this
light in a pocket. Every time the hand enters the pocket
there is a good chance the light will be turned on.

small piece of tape over the "button" to shield it from

This is a great drive - a huge amount of storage and fast!

When I first got the drive, I set it up to do a full scan of
the drive. I did a CrystalDiskInfo before I started (see
the picture), and the disk temperature was 31deg C.
The scan took 5 hours. At the end of the scan the disk
temperature had risen to 50deg C (see the picture). After
completing the scan I watched to see how the temperature dropped. After 3 hours it had fallen to
45deg C. The passive cooling acts very slowly, despite
the large number of slots in the bottom, top, and back
of the drive housing.

Next I obtained a dual fan, and set one at the back to
push cool air into the drive. I put the second on top of
the drive to pull hot air out of the drive. I then wrote files to the drive for 3 hours. The starting temperature of the
drive was 30deg C. The temperature at the end of the
3 hours of copying files was just 33 deg (see picture)! I think this shows the effectiveness of having external fans.

It has bluetooth for input sources - so you can stream music from your phone to it. However, it does not have bluetooth output - so you can not use bluetooth headphones or ear plugs with it directly.

Often your local Goodwill store, and other charity shops, can be a place to find used cassette tapes - generally at very attractive prices.

The short answer is no - this boombox does not have a built in cd player. However, as noted in the previous answer you can plug a cd player into the AUX Input and play cds.

Can you listen to tapes in the stereo?
I have played stereo cassette tapes in this boombox, and can verify that you get true stereo sound out of the boombox from them. The same is true when tuned in to fm stereo stations, and when playing stereo mp3 files from a usb stick. An added note - the mp3 files obtained from copying stereo cassette tapes using this boombox are also true stereo.

I must transfer short clips from CDs to cassette tape. Can I connect jacks from my amp directly to the tape recorder, and fade-in fade-out?
With the appropriate cable or cable adapter you can plug the output from your amp directly to the AUX Input on the side of the boombox. You can then record to the cassette recorder. There are no controls on the boombox to provide fade-in fade-out, however.

Will wireless headphones work with this boombox?
The short answer is no. This boombox does not have the bluetooth out feature. It does, however, have an excellent headphone out to use with wired headphones or ear phones. I have used it with good quality headphones (Sennheiser 570) and the sound is excellent.

The boombox comes with an ac cord to plug it into a wall socket. You use it to charge the built-in internal rechargeable battery. The hours of airplay you get on a full charge will depend on how it is being used: the loudness setting for the speakers, whether you are using bluetooth, whether you are playing or recording with the cassette player/recorder. With the speakers set to moderate volume for a small room and playing the radio I have run the radio for 10 hours with no problem.

Yes you can. You can stream in from a bluetooth connected device, such as a smart phone or a tablet, and record to a cassette in the boombox (or a usb stick, or a micro sd card in the boombox). As noted in a previous answer, you need to adjust the volume of the external device to get a good recording.

No. Bluetooth on this device is only for input. You can however use the Headphone port on the boombox to wire it to an external speaker. Please note that the AUX port on this boombox is only for input.
