Can it connect to wireless earbuds?
No, it can not. It has bluetooth ONLY for input - so you can stream music from your cell phone to it (and it does a great job with this). But you can not output using bluetooth. You can, however, connect using the headphone out - and the quality of that output is first rate. You will need to get wired earbuds to do this.

How is the am fm quality pickup. I live in the country.
I live in a small town. I pick up local fm stations, and fm stations within 30 miles with outstanding clarity. The tuner locks on, and there is zero drift (none observed over a 5 hour period, and it remains tuned precisely from day to day). I can't speak to am stations.

I thought this came with batteries I just took off the cover and there aren’t any batteries. Did you guys get batteries with yours?
It has a built in rechargeable battery. Use the supplied ac power cord to charge it. Make certain the switch on the back is "on" when you do this.

Does this model have bluetooth?
It has bluetooth for input sources - so you can stream music from your phone to it. However, it does not have bluetooth output - so you can not use bluetooth headphones or ear plugs with it directly.

Often your local Goodwill store, and other charity shops, can be a place to find used cassette tapes - generally at very attractive prices.

Does this play cds?
The short answer is no - this boombox does not have a built in cd player. However, as noted in the previous answer you can plug a cd player into the AUX Input and play cds.

Can you listen to tapes in the stereo?
I have played stereo cassette tapes in this boombox, and can verify that you get true stereo sound out of the boombox from them. The same is true when tuned in to fm stereo stations, and when playing stereo mp3 files from a usb stick. An added note - the mp3 files obtained from copying stereo cassette tapes using this boombox are also true stereo.
