I was looking for a secondary monitor to use with my desktop pc that was small enough to fit into the small space available, with enough resolution to make the control windows for photo and video editing readable. The specifications for this monitor looked like a good fit, and the price met my restricted budget.
The description described it to be in excellent condition. It arrived nicely boxed, with the monitor itself completely enclosed in a thick bubble envelope protecting it on all sides. Upon carefully examining the monitor it was clearly in excellent condition, with no cosmetic defects anywhere.
The monitor came with three cables: a short, thick USB C to USB C cable meant to carry video signals, a longer HDMI to mini HDMI cable that I needed for my desktop computer, and a longer USB C to USB A cable to carry power from my desktop computer to the monitor. I checked the USB C to USB C cable using a new gaming laptop I bought for Christmas and verified that it worked just fine.
When connected to my desktop computer, I found that the monitor completely satisfied all my needs. The resolution and crispness were great. The color accuracy was fine as well. I tried viewing some videos on it, and it performed well. It has speakers and they were low volume and tinny, but I had no need for them. I found no dead pixels in the display. It truly was in excellent condition.
This monitor is great at an extraordinary price! I highly recommend it.

This air purifier is used in my bedroom. It works so well I purchased a second one for use in my living room. At its lowest speed it is barely audible, and is the setting I use when I go to bed. It does an exceptional job in keeping the air clean while I am sleeping. I set the second one (in the living room) to the mid speed setting, and though audible it does not interfere with watching shows on the tv in that room.
This air purifier is working very well for me, and I highly recommend it as a quality item.

I was able to get an incredible deal on this computer as an "Open box" item, classified in excellent condition. It arrived quickly in the original box and using the original packing materials. It was in excellent condition, and included all the original pieces. Cosmetically it was in excellent shape. Even the instruction pamphlets were included.
It had been reset to its condition leaving the factory, as was seen when I powered it up and went through the standard set up procedure for a windows pc on first start up. I encountered no difficulties at all, and had it up and running very quickly. I connected it to a 28inch, 4K, 60Hz monitor that is shared with an old tower (to the left of the monitor). The HP tower is to the right of the monitor.
In the photos I show the display using the internal graphics built into the tower. The photos don't do it justice. The display is truly breath taking. I will be using this new computer to view and sort family photos (over four thousand of them). I will also do light editing of these photos, where needed.
The CPU on this computer is much faster and more powerful than that on my old machine (an 8th gen i5). I am able to my photo work and other home tasks (shopping, light research, videos, movies, etc.) easily and quickly.
I did a number of upgrades on my old tower. I also have built a modestly powered pc that I use to do more advanced photo editing, and light gaming. So it was not long before I opened up this HP to see what it looked like and what upgrades might be possible. In one photo you see what the full interior looks like, as well as two close ups. The interior is very clean and simple - an indication of good engineering. Cable management is excellent. The shroud over the cpu and storage drive guide the warm air out of the tower. The fan used to drive the air is extremely quiet. It is almost inaudible.
The storage drive is under the shroud, and is cooled by the air moving through the shroud. The storage drive is fast, doing over 6000MB/s both read and write. It has a 1TB capacity. There are no other available m.2 NVMe on the motherboard.
However, as several other reviewers have pointed out, there are two SATA ports for data as well as one power SATA port on the motherboard. I obtained a cable to plug into the power connector and another cable to split the power to two connectors to power two 2.5inch SSDs. I obtained two data SATA cables to connect to the two SSDs.
I obtained a metal cage to house the two SSDs. I stuck the metal cage to the side of the power supply, as seen in the photo showing my upgrades. Both SSDs work, and yield speeds of over 500MB/s. They run cool, and draw very little power.

Another upgrade I made was to the memory. The pc comes with one stick of 16GB DDR5 ram. I added a second 16GB stick of DDR5 ram. The first try didn't work, and was rejected by the BIOS of the pc. My second try, using Crucial ram was successful. I suspect the initial ram was simply not recognized by the BIOS of this machine.
I went into the BIOS and found that it is a very simple and barebones system. There is very little that is adjustable in it. I know that there is a fan curve in it to escalate the speed of the cooling fan, because I can hear the fan speed up as the cpu gets hotter. But there is no way the user can adjust that fan curve. I believe the BIOS was kept simple and limited to protect the typical user this pc was designed for.
A third upgrade I made was to install a low power graphics card, to permit simple video editing and modest game play. I chose the RTX 3050 with 6GB GDDR6 video ram, in the version with a peak power draw of 70W. This card draws all its power from the pcie slot. An added benefit of this card is that its two fans help improve the circulation of the air within the pc. They are fairly quiet under my ordinary operating conditions.
Not seen in the photo of my upgrades is a fourth upgrade consisting of an expansion card that adds two USB 3.0 ports to the rear of my computer. Since the pcie slot needed for this in under the graphics card, I used a ribbon connector to extend the port 50mm to the side and installed the low profile card under the cage holding my two SSDs. I use those ports for data transfer from two external hard drives (with their own external power).
I have been running my new pc with all its upgrades for over a month now with no issues. I am very happy with this pc. I recommend it highly, even with no upgrades.

I purchased this for a small desktop I recently purchased for home use. This tower has a 280W power supply, and is being used with a 28inch, 4K, 60Hz monitor. The system is used mainly for viewing and sorting family photos, shopping, viewing online videos and movies, and other assorted things. This back-up system is well matched to these needs. New gamer here! Do I need any type of hard drives to hold more game, etc? And if so what is recommended?
You should plan on getting a usb external hard drive, 4TB or greater. Western Digital and Seagate have good units at reasonable prices. If you will be subscribing to Xbox's subscription services, and taking advantage of the many deals on games at Best Buy and elsewhere, you will fill up the 1TB in the console very quickly. I've only had my unit for 4 days, and it is already more than half full!

Can it connect to wireless earbuds?
No, it can not. It has bluetooth ONLY for input - so you can stream music from your cell phone to it (and it does a great job with this). But you can not output using bluetooth. You can, however, connect using the headphone out - and the quality of that output is first rate. You will need to get wired earbuds to do this.

It has a 3.5mm headphone jack that can be used for output. Be aware that you need to adjust the output volume for your needs.

How is the am fm quality pickup. I live in the country.
I live in a small town. I pick up local fm stations, and fm stations within 30 miles with outstanding clarity. The tuner locks on, and there is zero drift (none observed over a 5 hour period, and it remains tuned precisely from day to day). I can't speak to am stations.

I thought this came with batteries I just took off the cover and there aren’t any batteries. Did you guys get batteries with yours?
It has a built in rechargeable battery. Use the supplied ac power cord to charge it. Make certain the switch on the back is "on" when you do this.

Does this model have bluetooth?
It has bluetooth for input sources - so you can stream music from your phone to it. However, it does not have bluetooth output - so you can not use bluetooth headphones or ear plugs with it directly.

Often your local Goodwill store, and other charity shops, can be a place to find used cassette tapes - generally at very attractive prices.

The short answer is no - this boombox does not have a built in cd player. However, as noted in the previous answer you can plug a cd player into the AUX Input and play cds.

Can you listen to tapes in the stereo?
I have played stereo cassette tapes in this boombox, and can verify that you get true stereo sound out of the boombox from them. The same is true when tuned in to fm stereo stations, and when playing stereo mp3 files from a usb stick. An added note - the mp3 files obtained from copying stereo cassette tapes using this boombox are also true stereo.
