This replaces my older model, and is almost 3
times more powerful. I have already made use of it
this winter, and it started my car immediately. It is
a necessity for my harsh Minnesota winters. My old model
served me well for three years - this replacement
promises to do even better.

My first attempt to upgrade the RAM of my older desktop
computer resulted in it not even posting. After a lot of
detective work I learned that my computer did not
support XMP profiles, only JEDEC profiles. I found
that Crucial memory provides what may be the best
support for JEDEC profiles available. My computer
booted immediately with this memory kit and gave the
maximum possible speed for my Intel Core i5 Gen 8
processor - 2666 MHz ! Using the utility CPU-Z I found
that Crucial provides matching JEDEC profiles for
every XMP profile, and that these cover all possibilities
permitted for 8th through 11th generation Intel CPUs.
