I purchased four of these cables to use with external solid state drives. They have worked very well. I have only observed 10Gbps with my drives, because that is the maximum they will go - I have yet to get an external drive that is rated at 20Gbps. The cables feel solid and well made. They were a good buy.

Will said storage be ok to use for downloading games
I think it is too slow for that purpose. It has a speed of only about 130 MB/s.

The SSD can be removed and replaced with one of larger size. However, there is no additional nvme m.2 slot for a second SSD drive.

Is RAM upgradable for this model?
I consulted the maintenance manual for this laptop. There was nothing in it about the RAM, indicating that it can't be modified.
