I purchased four of these cables to use with external solid state drives. They have worked very well. I have only observed 10Gbps with my drives, because that is the maximum they will go - I have yet to get an external drive that is rated at 20Gbps. The cables feel solid and well made. They were a good buy.

This gaming laptop gives you a lot for the money. It has a stellar display. The keyboard and touchpad are very good. It has all the RGB you could want. It comes with a fast 1TB NVMe m.2 drive. And the cherry on the top is the ease with which you user can open the bottom, and upgrade storage and memory! This was my best purchase of 2025!

The SSD can be removed and replaced with one of larger size. However, there is no additional nvme m.2 slot for a second SSD drive.

Keyboard sizing - Is this Keyboard actually comfortable to type on or is it cramped? I am debating between the 14" omnibook and this one. Folks with the 14 claim the keyboard is small. Just curious if the keyboard is actually larger on this model?
I find the keyboard on this 16" model to be very comfortable to type on. It is in no way cramped. I don't know how it compares to the keyboard on the 14" model.

DO I STILL NEEDED TO GET NORTON INSURANCE
You should get some kind of virus and internet security for this, or any computer. As a baseline you can use the Microsoft software that comes with Windows free of charge.

Sorry, it does not have an ethernet connection built in. However, you can get a fast ethernet adapter that plugs into one of the C ports.

You can do less demanding gaming on it. It is limited for higher level gaming in that it does not have dedicated GPU.
