I have wanted this unit for some time, and was finally able to get it at an excellent price during the Black Friday sale. It provides excellent backup for my new PC and new monitor, and their external drives. My equipment has relatively low power draw, and I get almost an hour of run time when losing power, which is more than sufficient to backup crucial files, and power everything down safely.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This monitor is my first 4K monitor, and it gives me absolutely stunning images. I am using it with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop elements., and it is well paired with them. I thought I might be overwhelmed by the size of the screen, coming from a 15" screen on a laptop - but I very quickly got accustomed to it, and find myself doing all my editing using my new monitor.

This machine is impressive. It is very well made - with a very pleasing exterior, and a very clean and well laid out interior. It provides more features at this price point than you can find elsewhere. For example - it gives two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, and a USB C port on the front! The engineering is well thought out. For example, the memory is two paired 4GB sticks, to optimize throughput. The machine is snappy and does the jobs it was designed for very well. One thing to take note of is that the machine is not designed for high end gaming, and really can't be upgraded to do so - it has a 180W interior power supply and a proprietary motherboard. But it does all the tasks characteristic of a home pc very well, and somewhat beyond. I am doing photo editing using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop Elements, and they work very well. I have paired the PC with a 28" Samsung 4K monitor, and the images are stunning. For the price, you won't find a better machine anywhere.

Can the storage be upgraded? If so, what kind of drive is needed and what is the maximum capacity possible?
You could add an external solid state drive. If you get one of the newer ones that use an NVMe, and connect it to the Super Speed usb-c port, you could get speeds as high as 1000MB/s for both read and write.

Can the USB C port be used to connect to a second monitor and power that monitor?
You can not run a monitor from the usb c port of this laptop. You can run a single monitor from the HDMI port of this laptop.

I do not see where the privacy feature for the camera is. Is it a button that needs to be pressed? Because I see nothing that covers the camera.
The version of this laptop I got from Best Buy does not have the sliding switch to put a physical screen in front of the camera. I believe this is the case for this version of the laptop for Best Buy. You can disable the camera in Settings, if you wish.

The only difference between them is the color scheme. If you prefer the color scheme of the KX-TGD863, I believe you have no choice but to accept it with 3 handsets. Having a spare could be a good thing.

It sounds like you either put the cap on too tight, or cross threaded it when you put it on. I think you will have to use brute force turning the cap counterclockwise. After filling the tank, take care putting the cap back on - making certain
