Venom: Let There Be Carnage - 4K Blu-Ray [Standard] [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray]
As he tried to cope with the alien symbiote now sharing his body, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) couldn't turn down the invite that could recharge his flagging journalism career A prison sit-down with psychotic serial murderer Cletus Kasaday (Woody Harrelson). Freak circumstance caused the parasite to infect Kasaday as well-resulting in an escape and rampage that even Venom might not be able to stop. Showdown for the Marvel Comics supervillains co-stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris. 90 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

This is a nice light, but that has one issue.
The so called "on button", is not really a button. It is a
contact point. The light turns on when it and part of the
metallic housing are touched simultaneously. Your body
completes the circuit, and the light comes on. When the
circuit is broken, the light goes out, but only after several
seconds.

The problem that arises is that most people will have this
light in a pocket. Every time the hand enters the pocket
there is a good chance the light will be turned on.
This will shorten the life of the battery.

I have created a simple way to avoid this by putting a
small piece of tape over the "button" to shield it from
my fingers (see picture). It is simple, and works.

This is a great drive - a huge amount of storage and fast!
However, if you are writing large amounts to it, you may
need to get a fan. Let me relate to you my experience.
However, if you are writing large amounts to it, you may
need to get a fan. Let me relate to you my experience.
When I first got the drive, I set it up to do a full scan of
the drive. I did a CrystalDiskInfo before I started (see
the picture), and the disk temperature was 31deg C.
The scan took 5 hours. At the end of the scan the disk
temperature had risen to 50deg C (see the picture). After
completing the scan I watched to see how the temperature dropped. After 3 hours it had fallen to
45deg C. The passive cooling acts very slowly, despite
the large number of slots in the bottom, top, and back
of the drive housing.

Next I obtained a dual fan, and set one at the back to
push cool air into the drive. I put the second on top of
the drive to pull hot air out of the drive. I then wrote files to the drive for 3 hours. The starting temperature of the
drive was 30deg C. The temperature at the end of the
3 hours of copying files was just 33 deg (see picture)! I think this shows the effectiveness of having external fans.

I use this drive to archive material on my desktop computer at regular intervals. Large amounts are written
to the drive, and I need the fans to maintain the health
of the drive. I suspect that others using this drive will
be doing something similar, and would benefit by adding
fans.

The lamp is not cordless. It has a proprietary cable that that goes to a transformer that has to be plugged into a standard wall outlet.

Is this lamp pretty stable? Or does it fall over easily? The base looks pretty small in the photos.
The lamp is very stable. The base is 5" X 7". In addition it has heft (must have weights in it). I have bumped it on occasion, and it remains upright and stable.

Is it fireproof so what it contains can be stored in the overhead compartment on planes safely?
This sleeve is not fireproof. Also, I would advise not putting
it with your laptop in the overhead compartment. The risk
of damage there is too great. Put it where you have more
control - on the floor in front of you, or the seat pocket in
front of you.
