This sleeve is not fireproof. Also, I would advise not putting
it with your laptop in the overhead compartment. The risk
of damage there is too great. Put it where you have more
control - on the floor in front of you, or the seat pocket in
front of you.

No, you can not make or receive phone calls on this laptop.
It does not take a sim card, needed to make and receive
phone calls. You could, however, make calls over the
internet using an app like Skype.

This laptop has dual microphones, one on each side of the
camera facing the user. They may be muted, and you
should see that in the Settings. If it says it is unavailable
in the Settings, you should take it back and ask for help.

It does not have a built-in stylus, but neither did it when it was brand new. You can get a simple rubber tipped stylus for around $5. You can get an active pencil stylus from Lenovo for around $25.
