The phone was delivered quickly in just three days after
it was ordered. It was delivered in a small, heavy-duty
cardboard box. When I picked up the box I could hear
something moving inside. Upon opening the box I
immediately saw that the phone was not packed very
well. The phone itself was in a thin plastic bag, and
secured to the bottom of the box by a tight band of thin
plastic. There was no foam cushion on either side of the
phone. Placed on top of the phone was a box containing
a charging cable. This box was free to move about. There
was also a wall charger in a thin plastic bag that was also
free to move about. These items should, at a minimum,
have been isolated from the phone by bubble wrap. I
expected more care for a phone that cost $450. This
careless packing cost me a week of carefully testing the
phone - something most customers would not do.

I ran all the Samsung diagnostics multiple times,
and the phone passed them all. I found an app to
help me find dead pixels and residual images on the screen - none were found. The display screen was
like new. The battery was also like new. I have been
using the phone now for almost four weeks, and can get
almost three days usage out of one full charge - although
my usage is relatively light.

All three cameras work very well, and the lenses look
like new. They experienced no damage from the careless packing - but I was probably lucky. A photo of the
base of my Christmas tree with the main lens is very

I am very happy with this phone. However, I am afraid I
can not recommend it to a friend. The careless way it
was packaged could have damaged the phone. I think it

detective work I learned that my computer did not
support XMP profiles, only JEDEC profiles. I found
that Crucial memory provides what may be the best
support for JEDEC profiles available. My computer
booted immediately with this memory kit and gave the
maximum possible speed for my Intel Core i5 Gen 8
processor - 2666 MHz ! Using the utility CPU-Z I found
that Crucial provides matching JEDEC profiles for
every XMP profile, and that these cover all possibilities
permitted for 8th through 11th generation Intel CPUs.

This is my first racing wheel setup, and it is an enormous
step up from a gaming controller! I use it with Forza
Horizon 4, and it is incredible driving around Scotland
with this setup. For a beginning set up it is an incredible
value. I have it mounted on a folding frame and I set it up

Can the RAM be expanded from 16GB to 32GB? What type of memory can be used?
There is a second, unoccupied slot for another stick of RAM. Care must be taken, however, to use RAM that is recognized by this pc. I found Crucial to work. The RAM needs to match the speed of the existing stick, and it must be DDR5.

What motherboard does this have and can I install a discrete GPU like Nvidia 5060 or AMD 5060 on this?
This pc uses a proprietary motherboard made by HP.
You will not be able to install a GPU like the 5060, as it requires additional power that the power supply here can not provide, nor the special power supply cable. You can use a low power card that runs on the large pcie slot in the computer. I have successfully installed an RTX 3050 with 6GB GDDR6 ram - it is the version with a cap of 70W power draw.

Can multiple monitors be hooked up?
There is an HDMI port on the back of the computer. There is also a Display Port connection that can be used to connect a second monitor. If that monitor does not have a Display Port connection, a cable or adapter can be used to complete the connection.

Not counting CPU fan, how many case fans are there?
There are no case fans in this pc. The left side panel (the removeable one) is heavily perforated, providing static air flow into the pc. The cpu fan also provides cooling air flow to the solid state drive, which is inside the shroud surrounding the cpu.

The wattage used increases with the set temperature, and also with the speed of the fan (which can't be set).

Does this item have a 3 prong plug? I need one as i will use it at work and need 3 prong to be compliant
It has a polarized two-prong plug, ie, one prong is larger than the other. It can be plugged in only one way. The outlet on the wall must permit the use of such a plug.

Does the refurbished t7 work as good as a new t7?
I purchased two of these refurbished drives. After properly initializing and formatting one of them, it appears to work as well as a new drive. This was not true for the second drive - I struggled to get it to work, and then found that 7% of the sectors of the drive were bad. It now appears to be working, but I less confidence in it.

Does the external SSD come with a USB-C cable? I’m not sure if I have one.
It should come with two cables. One a usb c to c, and the second a usb c to a. Mine came in a little box "hidden" behind the drive. However, you need to test them with a drive known to be good. I found 3 of the 4 cables I received with two of these drives to be defective.
