The system is easy to install and easy to set up, at least the basics.
When I connected the first module (basement) to the modem, WiFi was up after the brief initial settings, speed was as suppose to and internet quality was good.
When I added the second module to the main floor, it was also quick and easy, I did some speed tests in the main and 2nd floor; the main floor had good connectivity tho not as fast as basement, 2nd floor had really bad internet with some dead spots and slow speed.
I proceeded to install the 3rd module on the 2nd floor and it took a lot longer to connect to the modules, but it did. Internet speed and quality increased in the 2nd floor, but wasn't that good.
Next morning I had no internet on the 2nd floor, this 3rd module read that it was "OK" and connected to the internet (it wasn't).
I restarted the 3rd module and moved it to a better location, but now the light was read, reading "No internet".
I moved the 3rd module to the 2nd floor as well, 50 ft to the 2nd module, and when I turned it on, again was reading red.
So maybe I got a defective product (a damage module) or maybe the modules do not communicate very well in 3 stories.
I tried to set with just 2 modules, but internet on the 2nd floor was not good.
I ended up returning the system and getting a 3 band router which works pretty well, still not great connection on the 2nd floor (router in the basement), but better than with the mesh system.

I am looking for a router that works with Verizon FIOS, does this router works so that I don't need to rent the router from Verizon? Only need speed 100/100. Nothing fancy, just internet.
If you only need A ROUTER, then yes, this will work.
But consider that FIOS uses optic fiber and the "router" they provide (most of the times) connects to both the cable and the optic modem simultaneously, now, some people depending the area get all of the internet service through the optic modem, in this case you might be lucky and just need a router (like this one) but if your situation happens to be like mine, where I can't disconnect the Fios router because it also works with the cable modem, then this won't work, you might just buy it from them (I did that).
I would just buy the router, try to see if it works and return it if it doesn't

How many devices can this support at one time?
At some point I had up to 16 devices connected to this router, but that's not the problem. You should consider how much bandwidth you'll be consuming since this is not a very strong router, having many devices connected simultaneously will reduce the internet speed.

Don't know what version of bluetooth Velop uses, but have a USB in use for bluetooth dongle for my fitbit to sync with software on the desktop. Is there a way to use the bluetooth in the nodes to sync with the fitbit and not have to use the dongle
The Velop nodes don't have USB ports nor bluetooth

My house is 3800 square ft. Will this 3 pack cover the whole house well, with no dead zones, or do I need more nodes?
This didn't work for me and my house is smaller.
Try with more nodes or the stronger system WHW0303B.
But the basic one with just 3 nodes won't be enough for you
