Does this keyboard have an extra usb port to plug in a mouse? my laptop only has one usb port. if i add this keyboard i wouldn't be able to use my mouse.

Unfortunately, this doesn't. I'd suggest getting a hub that would give you extra USB ports.Bestbuy carries 4 port hubs (Insignia brand) and others, you can also check online for others. Hope this helps.
