Speck - Balance Folio Case for Apple® iPad® mini (5th Generation) and iPad® mini 4 - Stormy Gray/Charcoal Gray
Safeguard a 7.9-inch iPad mini with this Speck Balance folio case. The full-perimeter outer shell and protective interior liner provide impact absorption from 4-foot-high drops, and the adjustable stand supports multiple viewing and typing modes. This Speck Balance folio case has a clasp closure to securely cover your iPad display.

Overpriced, but does the job ok

I usually buy my tablet cases and phone cases on Amazon as BB is too expensive with very little choices. I needed something to prevent scratches on my new iPad mini that I bought that day and this was the best one they had for my purposes. However it was $40. I did not like the clasp that keeps the case closed - I prefer magnets for that purpose. Other than being overpriced and my dislike for the clasp it is a decent case and will protect your iPad with little added weight. I intended to return the item but the 14 day return period BB has implemented went by too fast. It's sitting in my closet as a spare.

Need a new mouse to throw in my slender leather case for my Lenovo X1 Carbon. This mouse does the trick. I prefer Logitech mice for daily use but if I'm traveling with my laptop instead of using my HP Workstation this mouse does the trick. Hard to find flat mice so I'm glad Microsoft has one. Being bluetooth makes one less thing you have to worry about being in your bag - the usb receiver.

I have several sheet fed scanners, a portable Canon and a NeatReceipts scanner. I bought this Epson V600 to replace a 10 year old Epson V600 for scanning things that can't go through a sheet fed scanner like a page in a book, pictures from a calendar and such. I'm not a heavy user, but I've always had an Espson to work with. They have never given me a minutes worth of problems, the software is useable. Just a good basic scanner that will last a decade I hope. I typically scan directly into Photoshop for pictures and photos and into Acrobat for text. This scanner does either very well. I've never used the quick touch buttons on the front so I can't comment on their usefulness.

i have a large quantity of 8x10 promo pictures that i would like to scan into my desk top. i assume this scanner will allow me to do this. when i open the scanned photo what size will it be? and do i need to do anything to print it as an 8x10 photo.

Size on your computer depends on what size you set in your scanning software. Since it's an 8x10 when you scan and import into your computer you would have a 8x10 if the edges if the 11x8.5 are cropped away. If you just scan the picture with no cropping then you will have a 11x8.5 picture in your computer but it will have blank edges of .5 x 1. Crop the edges while scanning and you will have an 8x10 or some variant of d8x10. 4x5, 2x2.5, etc. You need to set the scanning size for whatever you want the output to be.

Can you scan directly to a memory card with this scanner, or does it have to go through your computer?

Only through a computer.

Does this work for slides & with Windows 10?

works well with Win 10 and Epsons usually come with a slide adapter. Can't remember if mine had a slide adapter, but I will try to remember to look and see. There should be a listing of the contents either in the picture gallery or the listing itself.
