The install went smoothly for the cd machine, but a new receiver was trouble shooted that I bought at Best Buy where one of the inputs didn't work. Fortunately the agent discovered the problem and used another input to solve the problem. So far I've always had a good relation with the agents that Geek Squad has sent out. The install of my complete home theater system are just to technical for me to handle, so using the Geek Squad has always saved me from wasting my time to figure it all out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I thought Yamaha was a good product, but I had problems with this unit, since the music sounded great, but it would cut out time and again, and the disc changer wouldn't work very will even from it's own remote control. So I returned it the very next day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a problem hearing certain audio frequencies from my TV. These wireless bone conduction headphone using Bluetooth work perfectly for me as well as for my cell phone playing music. I would of given it all 5 stars, but the battery is good only for 6 hours and it would be nice if it had a charging station instead of using a wire connection. In any case, I'm very happy with them.

The 85" TV picture is great and sound especially from the bone induction blue tooth headset I just purchased. I'm kind of hard of hearing when audio comes from my TV or sound system due to the different frequencies giving me trouble. The sound is sharp and clear. I had been using a wireless TV headset, but it gave me headaches due to the pressure from wearing them and the sound wasn't as clear as the blue tooth bone induction headset by many times over. Installation by me alone would of been impossible due to the complexity of the TV setup, that's why I used the geek squad to get it done so much faster. They know how to configure everything to my needs.

The 85 inch TV sure is big and the picture is great. The install of my new receiver did solve my problem of low sound to my satellite speakers, which worked out great. So my experience with the Geek Squad has always been good. Nice people to work with. I will always keep up my contract with them, since keeping up with tech is getting harder as time goes by.

Can the Geek Squad install a DVD player for me. I'm not tech savvy at all and it is very confusing for me. I'd hate to have to return the DVD player.
Yes they can help as they did for me on my DVD player. Machines these days are getting too complicated for us lay men to do a setup on our own. Over time they helped me install a new DVD player, 85" TV, 5.2 channel Receiver, 5 disc CD player, Bone conduction Bluetooth head set and program a Harmony all in one remote control. Saves time and frustration in using the Geek Squad.

Have you got any idie when you might be geting in the yamaha 5 disc player might be in.
I got the Yamaha cd player in a timely manner, but I returned it the very next day since it would cut out the music and the disc changer wouldn't work properly. There's not much to set the unit up with only 2 audio wires and a power cord to it plug in. I ordered another unit from Sony on Amazon and this time I'm having the geek squad to set it up to make sure everything is done properly. So far I have never had any problems with Sony so I hope this next unit will continue my good luck with the product name.
