I've had one of these a while, and when it went belly up I figured I'd have trouble and expense finding one as reliable. Amazing, but Epson had not changed the model, and I was able to replace it. Same reliable quality scans. Maybe a bit faster, but not having to relearn and re-calibrate was worth a lot more than the cost to me.

I was looking for a well-designed shaker for my before-dinner martini for a while, and this fits the bill. Not glass, because I tend to break things, and it does not have a lip around the inner side of the top to collect undesirable gunk if not cleaned vigorously every time it is used, like the oe I had before.
The other barware was a bonus, but not the deal clencher.
