I really like this camera. I was originally going to go with a Ring Pro 2 however I realized this would integrate better with my just about everything Google Home and that integration works great! I like that you can set up alert zones for different areas and get alerts base on motion in that zone. It also recognizes familiar faces if you have the subscription plan. The app or my google homes will tell me who is at my door if I have them saved. The biggest down side to this and nest IMO is the subscription plans. $5 is the cheapest you can get away with when it comes to these plans and that is only 5 days of cloud storage where ring is $3 and you get 60! I think nest really needs to change that. It really made it a tough decision to purchase this because of that. Otherwise I am happy with it. Good video quality even when zoomed it. I haven't had too much use of the IR because I have a light at my front door at night but even in tests it looked good. For a wireless camera it does pretty well. Only a few dropouts every now and then and if so it's only for a few seconds and that may simply be because of my router.

The only reason I have this is because I got it on super sale ($20 with a nest product purchase (-$80) when it was already on sale for $99). I placed it in my kitchen thinking there may be a time I'd want to use it for something...anything. Basically the only use I get out of it is another speaker in my room for voice commands. It can do some cool things like stream my nest Hello to it however I mainly use my phone for it. If you do a lot of cooking and want YouTube recipes this may work for you but I don't think smart home screens are ready for the world yet.

Home Mini (1st Generation) - Smart Speaker with Google Assistant - Charcoal
Home Mini (1st Generation) - Smart Speaker with Google Assistant - Charcoal
Google Home Mini is a smart speaker powered by the Google Assistant, so you can ask it questions and tell it to do things. Just start with "Ok Google" to enjoy your entertainment, get answers from Google, tackle your day, and control your smart home. Google Home Mini works on its own or you can have a few around the house, giving you the power of Google anywhere."

With multiple in my house I believe this is the best way to get voice commands going for your smart home. The Google Home app allows you to take full control of the device enabling automations even if you don't have something like a Smartthings. Also the speakers are actually pretty decent for this little thing. I wouldn't expect a lot of base but it still does pretty good.

Got this for the wife but she already wanted it. We added it to her Kate Spade case collection. She really likes it even though I don't understand. I can't see that it really protects in any way but it sparkles!

The game is fun and I haven't really played one since the N64. I am kind of disappointed that the maps seem so small and you can only choose 10, 15 or 20 turns. I wish you could have more customization. The mini games are fun but I feel like there aren't as many as the old ones either. It seems like the game has been downsized. I will add however that they added this "plaza" area where you can play different modes or mini games but I just really want more in the actual game it's supposed to be.

This game brings back all the memories. If you played the original pokemon's back in the day this is it. Enchanced 3D graphics and some new elements. I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy this as the more recent Pokeman haven't been that enjoyable to me but I was surprised. Worth it if you have a Switch!

These are pretty nice quality and comfortable. The boxing was very nice and the headset itself seems of great quality. I can't give the best advice for quality because I have only played Black Ops 4 with it so far and the game directional sound is all messed up. Sometimes the mic needs to be close for people to hear you well but not as bad as some people state on here....most programs and Windows allows you to change output anyway. I don't mind the wire too much even though I came from wireless. I didn't want to spend over $100 so I am pretty happy with what I got.

I like the stand up design. However I don't find the extra features that it can do that useful. I basically use it for charging which is quick however I feel like it is slightly overpriced. If you want it to give updates and slide your pictures across then it may be better suited for you.

HP - Pavilion x360 2-in-1 11.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Pentium - 4GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive
HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 2-in-1 Laptop: Stay productive with this HP Pavilion convertible laptop. The compact 11.6-inch screen flips over 360 degrees so that you can use it as a tablet. When opened 90 degrees, the generous keyboard functions just like a normal laptop. An Intel Pentium processor and 4GB of RAM make it easy to multitask on this HP Pavilion convertible laptop.

Is the memory in this laptop upgradable? If so, does it allow for 2 banks of memory (dual channel memory mode)?

I was able to upgrade mine. As someone else stated I used the G.skill ram I bought online. It is semi-difficult to install so if you are not familiar with computers this may be a bigger up-taking than you want. I found a nice video online with a break down on how to remove everything. It's not like a normal larger laptop. I'd recommend doing ram and a ssd at the same time. Spending an extra $120 for this thing makes it worth more like a $800+ laptop and super compact.

Just got my Nest Hello. Quick question. It rings on all of my Google Home devices (we have 7). Is there a way to specify WHICH Google Home devices it will ring on? Really don't want it ringing in the kids rooms after they've gone to bed

I had this exact issue. I wanted it on some but not all....and it IS possible. I believe if you go to the home you want in your Google Home app and click it's setting gear there is an option for "notifications". I disabled that and it stopped the doorbell. Granted you lose other things like broadcast I think.

Does the NEST integrate with SMARTTHINGS? I'd like things like lights to come on when the doorbell senses someone....

While ST does not integrate directly with nest products there is a popular device handler for nest devices in ST. It is one of the more difficult ones I have encounter when it comes to setup but people seem to have a lot of success with it. I believe it is called NST manager and there is a wiki page to help get it on your IDE.

My door is on the side of my home facing my neighbors house. How would I get a clear view of people coming from the left of the doorway and the doorbell is sort of inside a small alcove ( instead of just a shot of person at the door)?

So mine is similar to this. My door is off 45 degrees from my walkway. The camera is wide enough (I believe 160 degrees) to see it as is. However it also comes with a 45 degree (I think it was 45)bracket that worked perfectly for my situation. Worst case if you are 90 degrees from your walk way and you use the bracket you should be able to see just fine!

Long Shot Question - anyone make this work or try to make it work in an ONVIF environment like Synology?

While I am not familiar with ONVIF I know that you can request a "public link" which will give you an address where you can see the stream. If you can capture that footage from the link some how to back up in synology then you may be good. I talked to one of the top support guys one day and I asked him if there was a way to manually back up and his best advice was to basically stream that to a PC monitor and have a program capture the video and then save somewhere.

What are the dementions of height and width

While not exact it is something like 1 inch wide and 3 inches high. Depth is about 3/4 inch but rounded. It comes with a nice mounting plate that helps but also extends it a bit.

I have xfinity wifi service at my home. I make tshirts using vinyl in my craft shed out behind my house. I need the internet to do the cutting for my vinyl but the wifi doesn't, would this reach to my craft shed with xfinity??

This device needs to connect to your WiFi to be able to extend it. So if you have a place you could plug it in between the two areas you want it's possible it could reach. Walls and such could reduce the range.
