My 7 year "old" DVD player got sick. When this "new" one arrived I realized it was the exact same model. I decided that this was kind of comforting - i.e. that SONY hadn't "replaced" it. How often is that true these days - that you can buy the exact same thing years later? So, this review is really of the "old" unit. It worked mostly fine until the servo that spins the disc started to get balky. It did not track DVDs as well as the drive in my computers. For the price, it's hard to complain.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Logitech - M185 Wireless Optical Ambidextrous Mouse - Swift Gray
Logitech Wireless Mouse M185. A simple, reliable mouse with plug-and-play wireless. You get the reliability of a cord with wireless convenience and freedom—fast data transmission and virtually no delays or dropouts. You’ll enjoy the high quality and reliability that have made Logitech the global leader for mice—plus a three-year limited hardware warranty. The tiny nano receiver works right away without software and is small enough to leave in your USB port so you won’t lose it. And on top of that, this comfy, contoured mouse treats your hand right.
This is not a "mini"-mouse, it's slightly smaller than a typical wired mouse that comes with a computer. Call it semi-compact. It's the only wireless mouse I've owned so can't really offer any comparison. I'm using it with a Chromebook I bought for portability and as an emergency backup to my desktop. I find it quite handy for that purpose...much better than the touch-pad.

Is there a closed captions button on this model, and if so, is the type large enough to read without squinting? Is there any way to make the type bigger?
If the source DVD includes captioning options this player makes them available to you - controlled via menu via the remote. You cannot alter the size or placement of the captions. The size of the captions works fine for me.
