only negative is sound quality is different than a sound isolating headphone, but thats also the benefit, you get to listen to the road noise while you run so you feel safer!!

The description says "Unmanaged". What is being managed or not in the various switches? Of the 4 I looked at, 2 say "unmanaged".

not really sure, but i think it means you cant shutter each port, they are all on all the time, no software or firmware that you can playwith.

Can I use this as a router can I connect it to my modem and use this as a router and connect wirelessly to my laptop ?

no, its a switch that just gives your router more ports.
