My plan is to use this on an "outside" TV for sound. I am not looking for high sound quality. It is adequate, and better than the TV speakers but it is not a "Sound System"

The only comment I have is that the dryer unit is 1/2" deeper than the specs. They measured from the edge, and the front door and dryer surface is bowed. I had to do major modifications to fit it into the closet I was using for a utility area.

First, the previous unit failed after about 1 1/2 years of ownership. After receiving the unit we tried to activate it with the help of Great Call. After five tries and five failed activations we found out, from Great Call that their network does not work and it cannot be activated. They are currently trying to pre-activate all shipped units from Michigan, which is the only state the network is working in. I have waited for them to ship a unit since ordering on 6/27 and paying for it on 6/30 for the unit. It is now 7/17 and they can give me no prediction on when I will receive it. Do not purchase this unit because you cannot activate it and use it.

This item was only designed to operate in a "Z" function, I needed it to operate in a "C" function. In other words, it only connects to the back of the dryer and the other dryer vent hose can only connect going towards the wall...I needed a device that connected to the back of the dryer and connected towards the front of the dryer. I returned it and purchased a device that would function as I needed it to.
