We moved in May 27th and used for 4 days and stopped working. After a 2 service calls and months waiting for parts, we finally get the compactor back up Aug 3rd. and 5 weeks later stops working again! So with a 33% up time

I was so hyped up to get the TV, as I have a 1080p TCL and wasn't happy at all. Light bleed on edges and blacks are really gray. The brightness was very low; no matter what setting TV was on (Vivid (brightest, bright, normal, dark and ect...) Went with the Sharp 60 for the same price and man I was wowed by the difference. The Sharp compares to LG (6570) or Samsung (7100) at 1/2 the cost!

I was impatient and bought the TCL 55" 5 series and should have purchased the 65" for the same price (399)- swapped out the 60" Sharp and couldn't be happier! This set is awesome on every input, 4K, 4K HDR, 1080P, 720P, ect.. It does require some adjustment on brightness/temp for each, but once set, you are good to go. Man was I a fool for not getting the 65" for the same price! All your friends will be amazed!

The remote for this dvd has been lost rendering the player useless as I cannot initiate play. Is there a universal remote which will work?
You can download Sony DVD player app on your phone and use it. DVD player must be connected to the internet and on the same network as your phone. Lost mine and used my phone as the main remote for years.
