This item was purchased to replace a wired mouse. The trackball takes a little getting used to but I think it is more comfortable and causes less wear and tear on the wrist. In some people- a lot of use of a standard mouse causes the hand to go to sleep.(not good thing). This trackball doesn't have the same issue. I like it and using it currently.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will a Logitech M570 mouse work with a iPad Pro

My tablet cannot see the trackball with the bluetooth active. The tablet does not have a external USB port to install the doggle. So likely no.

Can you use this mouse on a old computer that has wordperfect instead of word?

It shouldn't make a difference; if the old computer can see and use the bluetooth doggle and install the driver software.

this mouse scrolls everywhere except on my spreadsheet. What can I do?

I dont seem to have the problem with mine. Be a little less vigorous with your thumb. There is also likely a method to turn down the trackball sensitivity in the driver software.
