Gets the job done. Not as sturdy as well-constructed as more expensive tripods. But very portable, nice lightweight carry bag which can be slung over a shoulder. Lightweight is a plus.

This scanner, and the software that comes bundled with it, is very good for a mid-range scanner. The flatbed function is excellent. The transparency function is less impressive, but still very good for everyday print and web purposes.
