I purchased this for HTPC use in the living room (media consumption, not gaming). Why this over a cheaper Polaris-based RX 560/570/580 product? A few reasons:
1) Power consumption. The living room PC is left on 24/7 and the older AMD cards use much more power, even in idle-state.
2) Video codec support. AMD's new RDNA graphics cards implement new video decoding support for VP9 decoding, which is especially important for Youtube. While the older products support H.264/H.265 at 4K 60Hz, they do not natively support VP9 decoding, which means that a lot of work is needlessly offloaded to the CPU.
3) Play-Ready 3.0 compliant - Important for playing DRM content (e.g. native Netflix app on Windows).
Overall, it's a decent card that does everything I need it to do. I suppose it would make a good entry-level gaming GPU as well due to having 8GB GDDR6 VRAM, but it's annoying that AMD decided to limit the memory bus width to 128-bit and the memory speeds to 1860MHz.

Nice fans with sophisticated RGB lighting (well, about as “sophisticated” as RGB lighting can get). But I learned after my purchase that the same fan set in white is actually superior with a much wider RPM range. Strange that they’re supposed to be the same product, but the white set is definitely superior.

Bestbuy.com doesn’t mention it, but this is a 4g tube. In terms of the paste itself (11mk/g conductivity rating), it performs as a very close second to Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut’s 12.5mk/g . In the real world, it equates to 1-2 degrees Celsius. Given that Kryonaut is nearly impossible to find in the US, this becomes the winner by default.

I purchased two of these and set them up on separate PCs. I ended up running into the same problem on both. Basically, they didn't work at all even after installing Corsair's iCue software. I was pretty close to returning both kits because the program would not detect the lights. The solution was re-starting the computer, re-installing the software, and unplugging/re-plugging the USB cable into the motherboard several times. It magically started working around the 3rd or 4th attempt. This was super frustrating especially since I had carefully cable-managed the whole thing and then had to rip the entire kit out. No problems since then, and I guess they're pretty nice for a premium set of RGB strips.

Without knowing what Asus model you have, that's too broad of a question of a question to answer. It may work (very slowly) if your Asus is equipped with USB-C 3.0 ports, but laptop chargers are usually more powerful (around 65w). This is a 18w charger designed to deliver faster charging to phones.

Does chromecast ultra output dolby digital 5.1 ? I have a roku and it says it does but it does not. It will output dolby digital, but only in a 2.0 stereo. Most of these devices wont do 5.1 which makes them garbage.

I am trying to use the mirror screen on my iphone to show directv on my tv that only has internet service and it says "Not HDMI supported" What do I need to get to make it work?
Unfortunately, HDCP (a copyright protection standard) doesn't allow for screen-mirroring for certain content.
Two ways to solve this:
1) If available, download and use the Apple TV-specific app, or
2) purchase an HDMI splitter or converter that doesn't comply with the HDCP protocol.

You used to be able to purchase Applecare within the standard 1 year warranty period, but this policy was changed after the protection plan was refreshed to "Applecare+." You must purchase Applecare+ within 60 days of purchase or else you will lose eligibility.
