I really like this. I use it with a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and it always connects, no problems. I bought this because I have a powerful 15" laptop but it uses a lot of power, gets hot, noisy fan, I wanted something compact and quiet for when I just need to do light work and It's performed great so far. Performance and speed is good for a tablet like this. I would buy again in the future whenever I may need to upgrade.

This has been good for my kids' zoom classes although yes you need an external cam for that. Sometimes it seems a little slow but probably only because I'm used to an i7 laptop. It really isn't bad considering the price. Just keep the number of tabs and apps open to a minimum. My only real complaint is that the trackpad is fussy. It's passable but we ordered a mouse direct from Kano and hopefully, that will help once it arrives. We also ordered the Kano USB cam which looks really nice and is a decent price. They should arrive next week.

It obviously pales in comparison to mario kart but that's to be expected. But that aside it's not bad, good not great. It's cool to be spongebob and patrick. My biggest complaint is that on the easiest settings it's still pretty hard for my young son to be able to finish above last. Should be made easier for the kids. You can always put it on difficult if you want.

I upgraded from F1 2016 and this is a major improvement. I don't usually buy games on release but this is worth the money. Game play is very smooth and the tracks are very accurate. There are weekly online challenges that usually are modeled after the upcoming race or previous race, right now it's Monza. I'm not even that great at the game but it's still really fun and I enjoy playing along with the real race season and getting a driver's view of these tracks.

Feels solidly built. Has performed well so far. The camera, I'm very impressed with it, much better than my last phone, which wasn't bad. But this one gets great shots, even indoors. My previous phone was the same height but wider. The phone feels narrow but after using it this is preferable because it was always difficult to stretch my thumb to reach the left side of the screen on my old phone. So taller & thinner is better imo.

What we love most about Chromebooks is that they don't get viruses. Since this is Windows 10, does it get viruses and need an antivirus program?
Windows now comes with (for free) "Microsoft Defender Antivirus." You can buy additional antivirus software but I never have and I've never gotten a virus. Also, it may be less common but it is still possible for a chromebook to get a virus or be a victim of malware. The best protection is common sense, don't download weird links, pirated software, etc. and don't download attachments in emails from unknown parties...

can javaJDK and eclipse be installed on this laptop
I do JAVA programming on my personal laptop - I bought this for my kid. The Kano is the same exact operating system and experience as I have on my XPS. So I don't see why you couldn't just as long as the Kano meets the minimum specs for memory and processor if there are any.

Hello. I'm travelling with my girlfriend to NY soon and we need a SIM card data only. Is this one the best option for us, or is there any other one that's better then this? We'll only gonna need data for surfing the net while walking through NY.
I'm on the ATT pay as you go plan. I pay $30-35 a month for phone service and I get 1GB of data. I can add an extra 1GB for $10 each. I've been NYC and the coverage was excellent there. There might be better options for you, but that's my two cents.
Alternatively, if you want to switch to ATT permanently they have a limited time promotion. Phone service and 8GBs of data each month for only $25 but you have to pay for the full year upfront to get the deal. I'll probably change my plan to this soon.
