Unfortunately, this is not the solution to your problem. Dropped calls are a function of the distance to the nearest cell tower, the strength of the cell signal inside your house, and the strength of the antenna in the phone. I had the same problem with a wireless carrier in the past, what I had to do was set the phone to use wi-fi for making calls. As long as I had good wi-fi in the house I was OK. However... if you are talking on a wi-fi connection and you move out of range of the wi-fi, the call will drop, so you need to be aware of that. The phone won't automatically switch from wi-fi to cellular if you are in mid-call.
