As an Apple user, I’ve found the Apple TV 4K 64GB (3rd generation) to be a game-changer in my home entertainment setup. The speed and responsiveness, thanks to the A15 Bionic chip, is impressive. Switching between apps is a breeze and the integration with my other Apple devices is seamless.
While it’s a bit pricier than other streamers on the market, as an Apple user, I found the value in its tight integration with Apple’s ecosystem. It delivered on the advertised range and WIRED speeds. I upgraded from the Eero 6 which had support for Homekit built on but the 6+ does not have that feature but I haven’t missed it much. I bought the 6+ after upgrading my internet from 100Mbps to Gigabit internet but my wife speed from wireless nodes have only increased by about 100-200Mbps. I can’t easily set up an Ethernet back haul for my Eero nodes but I haven’t found a need to exceed 280-350Mbps downloads. I can stream up to 8K without issue.
The set up with Verizon FiOS router / extender / coaxial was straightforward.

This device was excellent when it comes to image and video quality. It's like having a camera phone or DSLR with wings. The Fly More Combo package is the way to go in order to extend your flight time. The batteries will run down quickly if you fly far and fast but 3 batteries in the set should give you about 30-45 minutes of flight and video recording.

I was considering three 65” options: Samsung QN90A, LG C1 & TCL R646 and I am more than pleased to save the extra grand on more by getting this TCL. Coming from my 65” Samsung KS8000 from 2015, this TV excels in clarity, brightness and unformity.
Google TV rounds out the positive experience by giving this TCL TV many great settings and options to perfect your user experience. I really set this TV as a “Dumb TV” by turning off most of its “smart” or “AI” functions and use an AppleTV / Xbox Series S and Panasonic DP420.
Couldn’t be more happy maybe other than having the money to spend on a 75” LG C1 OLED.

I have enjoyed this, my first venture into RokuTV devices. I was looking for an inexpensive TV for a sunroom and this fit the bill. The clarity of 4K and DolbyVision content rivals some of the more costly brands. I will stick with Sony and Samsung at 65+” for my home theater but this is perfect for smaller, less utilized rooms.

Does this TV have a digital output plug? I currently have a sound bar that requires one to work. It's a rectangular plug.

Yes, this will help. It will use your home electrical circuit to route data from your modem/router location to any area of your house where you place the “receiver” unit. No loss of signal strength because it’s not disrupted by distance or obstacles the way WiFi is.
