A co-worker recommended this mouse to me. After much research, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. It does its job and then some. The programmable keys aren't just for gamers. I've applied these to software and apps used in my everyday work life. They have saved me so much time. I didn't realize how many wasted keystrokes I was putting in each day, until I purchased this little gem. More importantly, it is so comfortable. It fits my hand perfectly and works on a flat surface -- no mouse pad necessary! I'll never go back to a regular mouse. Highly recommend.

I'm an Independent Consultant and purchased this laptop to use for online teaching and video production work. I cannot say enough great things about it. Being an IT professional, I expected it to have at least one issue or glitch by now, but I have been proven wrong. I have this baby running several high CPU usage apps at the same time and it just keeps asking for more. It is super fast and extremely dependable. Finally, I look forward to going to my home office to work without being concerned that I'll have some computer problem during the day. I did upgrade it right away with 8 more GBs of RAM and an additional 1TB SSD drive. Acer made this incredibly easy to do by providing separate compartments on the bottom of the laptop (one for RAM, the other for an SSD or HDD). Both are easily accessible with just a screwdriver. Plug the new components in, screw the covers back on and viola - you're back in business. The Acer Nitro 5 automatically identified the new Kingston HyperX RAM (HX426S15IB2/8), but I did have to format and partition the Samsung 860 EVO SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM) before it recognized it. However, this was fairly easy to do using instructions I found on the internet. I wish I had enough money to buy another one of these!

Is this mouse silent? And does it use a laser or is the optic invisible?

This mouse is extremely quiet and the optic is invisible. It can be used on any flat surface just like a laser mouse -- no mouse pad is necessary.

i like playing modern combat 5, does the Logitech - G602 Wireless Optical 11-Button Scrolling Gaming Mouse - Black buttons scroll or are they for key binds for the game

You can program any of the buttons to scroll, just make sure you are on the default profile when you program them. Then they won't be specific to any one game.
