This Insignia Fire TV is a great television. It is much more comprehensive than the television set I purchased in 2008, a Westinghouse. (That was my most recent TV.) I am glad to see that television manufacturers do not include internal, DVD players in their TVs anymore. (My Westinghouse television set's, DVD player stopped functioning after 1 year.) The Insignia TV has excellent, color qualities. I am glad to see that red, white and yellow sockets are still included so that I can connect VCR players.

The Sony Wired Streaming Blue-ray Disc/DVD Player is an excellent player even though a HDMI cable was not included. I noticed improved picture quality on my HD television that is at least 8 years old. There is a slight lag (about 1 sec.) between the time the On/Off switch is pressed using the remote and before the unit cuts off. (This lag also occurs when opening and closing the tray when using the remote.) This product is also inexpensive; I paid less than $100 for it.

The Platinum-67 mm UV Filter has excellent diffusion and great packaging. This filter prevents UV rays from casting a bluish tint to digital photos. "Platinum" in the packaging is a catch phrase; I doubt that there is any platinum in the frame or coating. Nonetheless, when this filter is not attached to a lens, the plastic, filter case, which has a great, rounded, design with Styrofoam padding on the inside, will adequately protect the filter.

Why in the heck do you not specify that it won't do wireless internet.... for me to drive an hr home after picking up from best buy only to find out it has to be hooked up via lan line.....
My previous Sony Blue-ray Disc/DVD was the wireless version, likely model BDPBX370. This model will allow you to wirelessly connect to the Internet. Minimal setup allowed me to access YouTube where I could see various information on my television set even though my computer was in another room. There was a Netflix offer that required a subscription; but I did not use it. There were at least 2 other services to which I did not subscribe. Please note that the wireless version became inoperable after about 2 months after the warranty expired. Therefore, I purchased the wired version in December 2021.
