We bought 2 of these and they are great. Our mantle wasn’t wide enough to hold the cable box so we used the shelf to clean up the wires from the cable box. Looks great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If a cat jumps on it will it break?

My husband used Molly screws and it is pretty sturdy.
