Easy to provision with Comcast, happy with the performance, happy to not be paying a monthly modem rental fee! If you're running your own Wi-Fi router and just need a modem that gets the fastest speeds, this is a great pick, I use this to drive my Unifi Dream Machine Pro and it works perfectly.

While I'm not a gamer, I work from home and do a ton of video calls using multiple platforms: 8x8, Zoom, Webex, and Teams. Sometimes I have back to back meetings where I have to change platforms. This is a useful box because I can set up macros without having to hunt around to find where the screen sharing button is in the app I'm using and I can always tell if I'm muted or not.

I've been using a Harmony Hub with a remote now for several years. In general, Harmony is best in class because it will turn the right devices on and off without having to go through a bunch of button presses, which means the whole family can figure out how the home theatre works.
However, I had been behind on my firmware updates and in the course of trying to go from a really old software version to the latest when I changed from a cable box to Apple TV, I bricked my hub. Since I was out of warranty, I bought this to replace it. I was able to install this in our living room, move the programming over without much fuss, and make everything work again within half an hour.
Probably the most popular thing in our house is using Alexa to turn the TV on and off or change the TV volume with voice commands through the Harmony. If you have an Echo in the living room, you could put this in and just use the voice control.

When the Work From Home order came down, I packed up my office and brought everything home. Problem was, several things from my office were Power over Ethernet, I couldn't go back to the office to get stuff, and everyone had stuff on backorder - except Best Buy. I placed my order, and an hour later it was ready curbside. This switch can handle most general home office stuff and it has 4 ports to run VoIP phones and the like. It's no Cisco, but for a home office it's perfect and service was fast & friendly.

I love everything about my Macbook Pro than its assumption that we all love carrying 10 different dongles to get work done. So this one ticks off all the boxes - Gigabit Ethernet, a couple of USB-3 ports for thumb drives, and an HDMI port. It takes up little space in the bag and isn't heavy. This is one dongle that ticks all the boxes.

I hate track pads so I need a mouse for travel. Since the Surface Pro only has one USB port, a Bluetooth mouse that doesn’t need a dongle is best. This pairs easily and performs well.

When the letters wore off on our last keyboard over the course of a year (we run a public relations agency out of our home, so we type a lot) I decided to upgrade to a gaming model in the hopes that it would hold up better. So far, so good. The keys have the right amount of travel so typing is a breeze and it looks like the letters won’t rub off like the old one did. We got this on a Black Friday sale, but I’d pay full price and still be happy.

Nobody is going to confuse the sound from this with a THX sound system, but it's a well balanced sound that's got a decent amount of mid-range as well as the lows from the sub. I use it for a trade show display and chose it for the size. It would work well in a small office or home office, too.

So I have a regular PC not a laptop. I just moved everything around and had to unplug everything from my PC. I've plugged the green subwoofer cord into the green port on the back of the computer but i'm not sure how to get the 2 small speakers working?
The green plug on the back goes to your computer.
The 2 small speakers plug into a black stereo mini jack on the back of the subwoofer. Look at the metal plate on the back of the subwoofer; that's where you plug the satellite speakers in.
