We only buy this model m310 because it's the perfect size for your hand. Not too small nor too big just right. Goldilocks' size.

What is the distance from the mouse to the laptop that the mouse will work. Does it need to be real close to the computer or can I use it with a range of a few feet or more. What is the maximum distance?
I just tried to see how far it worked. I have my laptop on my kitchen table, and went to the kitchen counter using this mouse about 12 feet or more, and it worked. I didn't bother backing up any more then that, but I'm sure it would have worked as well. Great mouse!
