Very nice packaging and lots of features. However, when operating properly, the unit is fussy and only works as a jump starter for 30 seconds before turning back off. It makes it difficult to use if you are alone.
My unit exploded on the third use, and I'm waiting to hear back from the company.

I purchased this as a replacement microwave oven for home. I decided to upgrade in features, expecting it to work a little better. I was wrong, and this oven's features and quality exceeded expectations. This oven cooks more evenly and faster than other ovens we've had through the years, the rounded interior space is helpful, and for the first time in my life; a popcorn setting that actually WORKS! Very happy with this appliance.

This GE unit was an excellent value. It was purchased for the second floor bedroom in a bungalow style home. Installation was good and I was able to obtain the correct position for good drainage, however, the vinyl windows did not have a good spot for the security tabs, and I ended up putting extra screws in the window frame to prevent the window from opening.
Performance is good and blows nice cold air, and the unit is pleasantly quiet. Remote is a nice touch. There are only two things I do not like, but they are minor: The vents can be aimed side to side, but range of movement is limited and there is no vertical adjustment. The second thing is that the unit starts in Eco Mode, which is fine, but the next step in the controls is Fan, which turns off the compressor and means you have to wait a couple minutes for it to come back on when you try to change from Eco to Normal. Minor quibble, but it would have been more logical to go Eco, Normal, Fan.
Overall though, I'm very happy with the purchase.

I purchased the Sennheiser HD558 headphones to round out my collection, and they quickly became my favorites for comfort. The audio quality is very good, and these are what I would call "natural" instead of "fun" sounding. The bass can use a bump but has decent extension. Midrange is smooth and slightly forward, but it makes for delightful clarity without being harsh. The highs are detailed without being overbearing, but my favorite aspect is the wide soundstage and a sense of "openness". You can adjust EQ, but you can't adjust soundstage!
They are light on the head, and the large ear cups are comfortable for hours. Although I bought them for music, I also love wearing them for long conference calls.
They do not fold but I carry them anyways because it's worth it, but they are open back headphones and offer no noise isolation. This can be a good or a bad thing, depending on your environment. I did order the short cable because I do have a hi-res audio certified phone (32-bit/384kHz), and because the default cable comes with a 1/4 inch plug with a gigantic 3.5mm adapter. I keep the big cable handy for when I'm doing sound engineering.
They have been durable, and after almost two years, they still look and feel fresh.

If the unit is almost 17” wide why does the window need to be a minimum of 21” wide? My window is 19” wide.
The accordion adjusters on either side of the air conditioner take up about two inches when not extended. What I have done in some cases, is not use the adjuster on one side. However, you will need to make sure the air conditioner is against the window frame on the side missing the adjuster, and you cannot block the chassis vents on the sides of the air conditioner. You will also need to seal the side without the adjuster with tape, but I'd advise against duct tape because it will leave ugly adhesive behind when you take it off. Clear packing tape seems to work well and not leave behind a mess.

Does this unit need a dedicated three-prong outlet?
Yes, it does need a dedicated three-prong outlet. You can use an adapter, but only if it is properly installed and actually screwed in to provide proper ground. Note that some outlet boxes may not be grounded at all, so the adapter will not function as intended in those cases.

Is there a mic and can I use with my landline home phone?
There is no microphone and it would be difficult using these for a traditional landline, depending on the handset.
They do work well for smartphones, and I use mine all the time for conference calls, but be aware that you will be using the microphone built into your phone.
