It’s more like 480gb after it’s installed. Used it for a old toshiba satellite and it is doing the job and so much faster than the spinning Hdd that was in it before. I actually had to purchase 2 because the first one didn’t arrive when it was supposed to and arrived in stock at the store first.

So I got it Black Friday like most people that were lucky enough to get one. I’m happy with it so far disappointed about a few things at the same time. My main disappointment is the weird screen that you can only see when your looking right at it. It’s a horrible screen and doesn’t look 1080 cause it’s weird. I have 10 year old laptops with a 720 screen that are nicer. I would prefer a shiny screen, but the ryzen 5 and the gtx 1650 make up for the screen. What I will ultimately do is connect it to a monitor a get a keyboard and mouse like a desktop uses. The mousepad sucks also to me I think it could’ve been a lot better coming from a company like hp. The battery life is very poor also, and I haven’t even attempted to play a game yet but without playing a game it seems to only last maybe 2-3 hours. Besides those problems it seems to be a nice laptop. I did have a problem trying to figure out how to turn the backlit keyboard on after it randomly turned off and I haven’t had to deal with again since. I’ve put maybe 12 hours on it so far until I can add another hard drive.

Will this work in a Dell Inspiron 5437 Windows 8 laptop? I wonder if purchasing a new laptop would be more cost efficient.
It will definitely make a old computer seem faster than it ever was. This just depends how fast the processor is. I put one in a old all in one hp from like 2011 and it has a i3 and is running decently enough to run Roblox and Minecraft. I also did a toshiba satellite and it moves a lot faster and I added more ram but the processor can only handle so much on that one and easily goes to 98%. So if it has a ok processor and works ok already it will get the fast boot and fast shutdown and faster load times for sure.
