It is a steelbook, nice panels, 4K disc, BluRay disc and a bonus materials BluRay. My only issue is the hinge is plastic, part of a contiguous plastic coating enclosing the steel panel. Pretty flimsy, and I imagine that hinge will be the first to go after repeated openings.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What key or keys do I press to start a new page, as for a new chapter for a book?

Hi Chris I'm assuming you're using. the Kindle app or something like that. Either the arrow keys left and right or the page up page down keys will let you move Pages back and forth. Holding down Ctrl plus the left or right arrow keys lets you move chapters.
