I was extremely excited to get a new DSLR (my first) that met all my needs - automatic, but also able to be fully manual, two lenses with lots of flexibility, and a case all in one. Cannon is a strong camera, and I'm very happy with the quality of what I have gotten
I would recommend this to a friend!

No, it will not play blue ray. The player also does not have an HDMI connection, so while you can connect to smart TV, not going to have all those features.

I can't be certain, but the base has a standard internet plug in, and so it should work with any service provider.

Does a memory card come with it

No, you want to purchase a memory card separate from the camera. the store package may include this, but the camera itself doesn't have memory card provided.
