This mount will stick to anything. It sticks to my dash with no problems. It sticks so well it is hard to pull off the windshield.
Great durable mount, well built. The only time it loses grip is when I move it or touch the suction cup too much. That is no problem though just clean it with dish soap and let it dry then it is like brand new again.
I have had this mount over two years and still going strong.
I would buy again if needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the suction cup leave a mark on the dashboard?

It left a bubble from the suction but it went away a few days after I removed it (vinyl dash). It depends on how thick your dash is or whether it is vinyl or another material if it will leave a mark. It did not leave any sticky marks.
