I picked this for my mother, who is an avid reader but has failing eyesight. Just the change from a 10-inch to an 11-inch screen helped, but the screen is also brighter and clearer. Plus it's a bit faster than her previous S6 10-inch.
It's a shame that ebook apps are not designed with easy text-to-speech for people with low vision. She can get it to work but it takes so many steps to turn on reading.

Needed a webcam. This works great both in windows and linux, although I found that if it was previously muted on a windows machine it will remain muted on a linux if used later. I expect it's a problem with the v4l drivers. I'm really glad I purchased it before the COVID shutdown--it got much harder to find good and not expensive webcams after that.

This worked for a few years on my Raspberry Pi, running OSMC. It was dropped from the Linux kernel because of poor support from the chip maker.

I really like this. I don't know if they are still in production, but if not I hope there is something just as good. I had to replace the band, but otherwise it has worked well for the past 14 months. My only complaint is that it cannot sync with my Samsung tablet, and my off-brand phone is too wimpy for the app. You know, Samsung, it could just communicate via web!

We got this all-in-one because we needed to work at home due to COVID-19. We find that it works great and was easy to set up. We avoided most of the online features, so it bugs us about that a bit. Paper handling has not been any issue, no gliches so far. It does have the problem of all lowish-price inkjets, expensive ink replacement. But I knew that going in.
