Overall some nice improvements from Q2. Pancake lenses which make it much sharper. A small improvement in graphics. And better sound.
I was excited for pass through. I shouldn't have been. It's super grainy and I quickly realized I like VR for the feeling of being inside something.
The downs are horrible comfort (plan to buy a new headstrap) and the size choices. For the price the entry level should have been 256gb. I think for most the 128gb will suffice. I purchased the 512 to future proof it against larger size games.

I find this TV very difficult to rate. It's a beautiful TV in of itself. But unfortunately when compared to the 77" s90c it's slightly lacking.
The bestbuy website said 1 store within 50 miles had the 83" on display. I called the bestbuy number and they told me that yes, this exact model was on display so I drove over. It wasn't. But the 77" was and I fell in love with it.
Now this is the most important part of this review. What I wasn't told when I fell in love with the 77" s90c on display is that although the 83" has the s90c model name it is the ONLY one with a different OLED screen. And it's made by LG. Read that again. Even though it has the same s90c model name it's very different from the other sizes. That isn't a bad thing, however Samsung TVs have QD OLED technology (quantum dot) which is brighter and slightly more vibrant than standard WOLED. This 83" s90c is much closer to the LG 83" C3 OLED. However, it's lacking the Dolby Vision that's in the LG C3.
I was told the 83" would be identical to the 77" but just bigger. I was sold...
If I had known all this before purchasing it, renting a U-haul van to pick it up, and mounting it to my wall I would have opted for the slightly smaller 77" s90c. I paid $3,999 for the 83" and the 77" is currently $2,499. For $1,500 less I think I could have been happy with a TV 2" less in height and 2.5" less per side. If only I had done more homework...
With all that said, this is still an excellent TV. Which makes me feel bad for rating this so low. But sadly Samsung is a bit cryptic about this models OLED and it shouldn't be sold under the s90c model name. I love Samsung but this is a bit questionable. If I had known better I would have saved $1,500 and purchased a slightly smaller TV with a brighter QD OLED screen. But there's no way I'm going to take this monster back down off the wall, try to repackage it in the box (that box is not meant to be used again after opening) and do this process all over again with a 77".
Consider these comparable TVs in this order:
1) 77" s90c (if you want the best picture)
2) 83" LG C3
3) 83" s90c (close tie to the LG esp if you like Samsung)
2) 83" LG C3
3) 83" s90c (close tie to the LG esp if you like Samsung)
If you absolutely want the 83" size then this TV or the LG C3 are both great options. I do think the Samsung looks sexier, though!

I love the ring product. But this one has the exact same problem of lagging severely when you need to view video as the first version. I have very strong wifi and reception so that's not the issue. It does have good video quality. Audio is a small improvement over the first but nothing to write home about.

It comes with a white cord which surprised me since its all black. But it works good. Just make sure your phone is centered. Make the mistake of being a little off center and it might stop charging randomly.
I also bought it for $17 which made this a steal. For $50 i'd go for a cheaper option.

After sitting for long periods of time it is very tempermental. It always gives me issues with printing. I have to fool around with settings and clean the print nozzles every single time I just want to print something (even in black and white). Would be a great deal for the money if it actually didnt cause a headache every time I go to use it.
