If the PS5 has any issues, it is the size of its default storage. While I did eventually upgrade with an extra internal SSD, I decided to get an external HDD for all of the PS4 games I still play as the PS5 lets you choose where the games from each generation are stored. This leaves all of the SSD space for my PS5 games that can take advantage of it, and a 2TB HDD for all the games of the last generation. At the end of the day though, any Hard Drive will do the trick, but if you're shopping around for your PlayStation or if you're just a fan, you can't go wrong with one designed around God of War Ragnarok.

Tenet is, in my opinion, another mind bending masterpiece from Christopher Nolan. I will not avoid the fact this movie will require multiple viewings to fully grasp what is happening but do not let that deter you from watching this film. If you have seen any of Nolan's recent films you know that you will witness a visual feast of amazing set pieces and expertly crafted action sequences. I will not go deep into the plot one because I do not want to spoil anything and two, given everything that happens this would be a very long review. The movie overall is an espionage movie with a time manipulation angle. The main character is pulled into this world in order to prevent what he believes is World War III. This story takes the main character all over the world in order to not only figure out who is responsible for this global plot but also how the time manipulation aspect is involved with this. I know that this is an incredibly vague plot summary but I do not like spoiling everything and again this movie is hard to explain. After I finished it the first time my group and I spent about thirty minutes talking about it and realized we all got different interpretations about what happened. This movie treats its audience like adults and trusts them to pay attention in order to follow this complex, multiple timeline spanning of a film. If I had to pick a negative it would be its length in that it might have benefited from being longer. It's current run is 2.5 hours but I think it would have benefited from another 30 minutes to flesh out some details. In the end I have nothing but praise for this movie. Yes, I will admit that I am a big Nolan fan and have liked all of the movies from him that I have seen but that does not take away from the fact that this movie is, once again in my opinion, and masterpiece. It is hard to find movies today that try to be so different and that trust its audience to pay attention and not want their handheld throughout the complex story. Masterfully directed, amazing acting, great action, spectacular set pieces, and a mind provoking story are just a few of the reasons that people should experience this film.

This projector is, in my opinion, one of the best currently on the market. What the LG HU85LA provides is a setup that does not require running wires through the ceiling as all it needs is to be a few inches from the wall to project up to a 120" image. And that image is impeccable in its quality and that is coming from someone who owns an OLED TV with perfect blacks and perfect contrast. For the OLED owners worried about missing out on the perfect blacks I can assure you that the blacks are dark. Yes, if you look closely you will notice the imperfections but you can only ask so much from a projector. As for the color accuracy this projector is just as amazing with superb color accuracy minus the few instances where very vibrant reds look slightly orange. And the higher chipset that requires less bit shifts to create a 4K image makes for a very clean and sharp picture. Yes, it is not pure 4K as the image needs to shift to get it there but you will have to spend over $20,000 to get a projector that can do that.
Without question I cannot recommend this projector enough and with that I wanted to address some of the issues people have had with this device. The first is obviously the price. No way around it, $6000 is a lot of money and while I was more than happy with the quality of the product it will depend on how much you are willing to pay. I will admit that I wish they had just left the sound bar out and reduced the price as it is only acceptable and you will more than likely have a better sound system anyway. People have also complained about the box being white and distracting during the movie. I'll be blunt, it's not distracting. Unless you have a terrible attention span and cannot focus on the screen it will just fad into the background once the movie starts. Another thing you will not notice once the movie starts is the coil whine. Yes, this projector has it and while it is noticeable when you turn the projector on you will not notice it once the movies starts except for the scenes where literally nothing is happening. Overall, I cannot recommend this projector enough. If you are in the market for an ultra-short throw projector with a superb picture and if you are willing to pay the price of admission do yourself a favor and demo this projector as you will not be disappointed.

Before I go into my actual review, I want to make something clear; I don't write reviews or I should say I don't write a lot of them. The two biggest reasons are I simply forget too or when I have finished a game enough to form an actual opinion the reviews are in the hundreds to past a thousand and I just don't see a point. However, The Last of Us Part 2 is different in that I loved it so much that I beat a 20+ hour campaign over the course of a single weekend. Unfortunately, another reason I have decided to write this review is the amount of childish behavior I have seen online from people bashing this masterpiece of a game. Now I am not saying you have to love this game but what I'm seeing just makes the gaming community look bad. An example of this is seen on the Limited Edition of this game, which I purchased, but was unable to leave a review because you can, as of this writing, buy it anymore. There are people giving this game a one-star review because the mail was delayed and in some form of protest towards Best Buy gave this game a terrible score. That is one of the examples of the spoiled, and childish behavior that has been occurring since well before this game released. But if you are still reading this review you probably want to know how the game is overall so we will begin that discussion. In order to properly address everything that is going on I will be dividing this review up into two parts. The first part will be the game itself and my personal opinion on it with zero spoilers. The second part will be addressing the controversies surrounding this game and will go into spoilers in order to properly do that. I will warn the reader prior to beginning that part.
Part 1: The Actual Review
If you want to know my opinion on this game you only have to read the title, I gave this review; One of the Greatest Games of All Time. Honestly there is nothing bad or wrong with this game, in my opinion, except for a single technical error that I will not mention because it would either be fixed by the time you read this or you will not notice it at all due to is minimal nature. I will go ahead and get the obvious praise out of the way because everyone else has already said it; the graphics. Coming from someone with a high-end gaming PC I can still say that this is one of the most beautiful games ever created. The emotions in the characters, the draw distance, the details in the weapons, the lighting, the pieces of your enemies that end up around the room when you kill them, and insert other graphical feats here. The game is simply stunning and that’s all you really need to know about that portion of the game.
As for the combat in the game, it has not changed much since the first game. Honestly, it is practically the exact same except for the additions of being able to jump, go prone, and swim. Unfortunately, the jump button is pretty much worthless except for parts where you need to jump so you will probably act like you can’t jump anyway. The visceral combat also makes its return and it is even more brutal than the first game. Beating people to death with a bat only to see their skull end up on a wall, setting people on fire with Molotov cocktails, blowing people’s heads off with shotguns, using the clickers to kill your enemies, and so on. If you loved the brutal combat of the first game you will love the combat in the second one. This game was made for a mature audience and I appreciate the creators for pushing that mentality.
To summarize the story would be to describe a 20+ hour emotional roller coaster where anyone can die at any time. Just think Game of Thrones in terms of people begin on the chopping block and you’ll understand. Now I will not lie in saying that the game does take some risks in regards to its story. And I will also admit that there are parts that you may not be happy with but that is what makes the game’s story so enthralling; its realistic. Not everyone gets a happy ending, not everyone who does evil things are purely evil, good people do evil things and have to pay the price for those actions, and things do not go as planned. As someone who pretty much played the game nonstop, I can tell you I was captivated the entire time and could not wait to see what happened next. This game has everything a fan would want; great character-building moments, scenes of pure dread, amazing action set pieces, and a feeling of having completed a journey once it is all said and done. I sat in my chair for probably ten minutes reflecting on the journey I just took with these characters; that is how invested I felt. Now if you are on the fence given the two extremes of reviews all I can say is, play it for yourself and give it a try. I cannot guarantee you will like this game but I promise you the story is worth experiencing. I hope this review helped some of you in making a decision into buying this game. The game is simply a masterpiece that everyone should experience. Now I will start my second part of this review that will contain spoilers so if you do not want to know what happens stop reading now.
Part 2: Controversies (Spoiler Warning)
This is the part where I will address the controversies surrounding this game and because of that I will go into spoilers so as one additional warning stop reading now if you don’t want to know what happens by the end of the Last of Us Part 2.
Alright, if you’re still reading this lengthy review you have probably already heard about what I am about to discuss since the initial review bombings, which I do not support by the way for any games, have already beaten a dead horse about. There are four main controversies with one being a societal one and the other three being story parts. The first one, and the weakest overall, is the game being a social justice warrior, woke, and other synonym filled game. I’ll just say it straight out, Ellie is gay and this was revealed in the first game’s DLC. It is no secret and if this bothers you enough to boycott this game, I don’t think you should play a game where scenes of hyper-violence occur. And once the actual revenge story starts the “gay stuff,” if you want to call it that, takes a backseat after the prologue.

I am going to give one final spoiler warning here.
This all leads to the first story issue; Joel’s death. Yes, Joel dies by being beaten to death by a golf club, which you probably figured out by forums joking about how Joel does not like golf anymore. I get the hate, I really liked Joel’s character but this is a dark, depressing game where anyone can die. While I was upset that Joel died, I embraced the story choice as a realistic telling of what could happen. This fuels the revenge story until the half-way point where you catch up with Joel’s killer; Abby. This leads into the second controversy where you play as Abby for the next large portion of the game. You start off after killing Joel and play her until you run into Ellie where the first half ended. I will not lie in that initially I was a little taken aback by this directorial decision, but by the end of it I enjoyed the perspective change because it shows that people are just trying to survive. Yes, they do evil things but by the end I couldn’t even hate Abby for what she did to Joel; once I learned about all of her motivations. In fast forwarding to the end of the game we come to the final controversy; the final fight. At the end of the game Ellie and Abby have one final fight in which both are beaten, sick, tired, and other such descriptions. In the end Ellie gets the upper hand and has the opportunity to kill Abby but decides not to at the last second and instead decides to end the cycle of violence fueled by Joel’s death and both go their separate ways. A lot of people are angry that Ellie did not viciously kill Abby to avenge Joel but honestly, I did not want either of them to die. After playing form both perspectives I learned to appreciate both characters.
If you are still reading at this point, I can assume you have either beaten the game and are just interested in my opinion or you do not plan to play to the game and don’t care about spoilers. I cannot stress enough how much I praise this game and I am not exaggerating when I say it is one of the greatest games of all time. It is simply a masterpiece of storytelling that everyone should experience and while it does take some risks that should not deter people form experiencing The Last of Us Part 2.
