I replaced some JBL club 6.5s with these alpine because the jbls bottomed out at higher volumes running off a 100 watt amp. (25 watts per channel)
These are rated for more than I can push them to and still distort/flatline at high volume. On top of that, they do not fit a standard 6.5 opening. They're more like 6.75. I had to make adapters to fit them in the doors.

They might be better off on a factory system with lower power, maybe not... I bought them with my best buy rewards, so, I'm not out much either way I guess. Use your own judgement.
