After doing some homework, I had decided to go with Sanus when we went to buy our new OLED TV. I was not disappointed! Please note that you must hit '2' studs to mount this item. Sanus did a good job on this one, it has multiple holes and is 30" plus in length, so hitting 2 studs is not a problem. Directions are easy to follow, and attaching your TV is a snap. They included a gazillion mounting screws, so it should work with any mountable TV. Good job Sanus!

To be honest, I was unhappy with my first one. You had toput your ear right next to subwoofer to even hear it. Took it back, and got another one. (By the way, Best Buy's refund/exchange policy is fantastic. No problems at all with the exchange.) After setting up the second unit, the subwoofer sounded fine, just not enough bass, but the 500 watts will blow your windows out if you turn it up. The mounting brackets are a complete joke. You can only hit 1 stud, and you have to buy the screws and anchors. Also, toss the included plastic ties. They break as soon as you pull on them. (Not good LG!!!) To solve my mounting problem, I built my own custom soundbar shelf. (see pics) For what this system costs, I would expect more bass, but the overall sound quality is good.

While shopping for a new TV, OLED's were out of the picture because of the price. After viewing one however, our minds changed. The upscaling on this set is fantastic, and makes all my Full HD DVD's look incredible. The actual width of the screen is no thicker then a piece of glass (no backlighting). The blacks are actually black, and the whites are actually white. OLED is an incredible picture. Go see for yourself, you won't believe the quality...

As I had read, the unit is slow (loading, ejecting, etc), but has a great 1080P picture. The remote is not very powerful, but functions ok. The indicators on unit are hard to see, and there is no display on the unit. However, the unit does have a HDMI port, and does display a great picture for a non Blu-Ray unit.

My husband installed and it is perfect EXCEPT the tv is not centered on my fireplace vertically. I want the tv moved down about 2-3". How do I do this? How do I get the tv off the mount if needed to lower it a few inches?

To remove the TV, pull the '2' plastic rings down. This will release the TV from the bottom of the mount and allow you to lift and remove. Now you have to remount your wall bracket a few inches lower. Be sure to hit 2 studs with the mounting screws. When mount is moved, reattach TV. Voila!
