I needed to replace my Uniden phone and answering system and this was the best value I could find to replace what I had. I especially liked the pickup process at Best Buy during this Covid 19 pandemic.

Can you turn off the ringer and any of the voice assistance like announcing of the dialed numbers?
Yes you can. It has a Quiet mode that can be invoked and this turns off all sounds and calls will automatically be answered. You might want to search for the user manual online and it can answer most questions.
