I mounted this directly under my TV on the wall, so it doesn't take up any shelf or floor space. We added a subwoofer and the sound is fantastic. Just like having your very own live personal concert. So glad to have it.

Took care of planning all the installations and ordering of home electronics to meet our needs. Appointments were made for final installations and set up. I have been using this microwave for 3 months now, and I am very pleased with the many features that it has. I first appreciate its large capacity. My largest baking dish will fit easily into it. The defrost cycle performs well with less cooking around the edges. I love the sleek look with no handles sticking out, so it is easy to clean. The inside is easy to wipe off as well and doesn't show minor messes since it is a darker color. I have used the timer many times and it is a great help. The only complaint I have is that unless I stand on my tippy toes, I cannot view the food inside as it is cooking. I am 5'4", so I don't feel as though I should have to compromise this feature. Maybe I could have had it mounted lower or the designers could have made the viewing window larger with a smaller black frame surrounding it. So far it hasn't been a big issue for me. I know this microwave has many more features that I have yet to use. Down the road I know I will really appreciate having them.

Is this is a good start for sonos system? I would ultimately like full surround sound, then add throughout the home.

WHAT ARE THE EXTERIOR DEMENSIONS?
I measured mine and got 29 1/2" wide by 17 1/8" tall by 16 3/4" deep. I tried to be exact since I don't know your mounting situation. I would mount it with the lower edge lining up with the bottom of the cabinet unless you are a taller person. I am 5'4" and have trouble viewing the food as it is cooking. Mine is mounted flush under the cabinet above, and it could have been lowered by an inch or so. Of course then you have do deal with the space left above it.
