Wanted something small and simple so I could watch old CD's I had. There were more expensive units but this works great for breaking out the old Christmas vacation movie once a year!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have an unused HDMI cable from some electronic. The label on the bag says "CTI#98-HDMI-6CM. Considering the price of a new HDMI cable, I feel rather cheap asking, but is a HDMI an HDMI? Or do I have to be careful about what kind I'm using?

I don't know if this helps but I bought the cheapest one they had and it works fine.
