Coming from an older LG, the color and picture quality is fantastic. However, I don’t know if it is the remote (as other comments have mentioned) or the TV itself, but there is severe input lag when trying to use the remote. For example, I will press the volume up button then try to click left or right to try and navigate a menu and the volume will continue increasing. Trying to enter passwords to log into my streaming services yielded similar results, pressing left then up made it continue to go left and no matter what button I pressed it would keep going left. Eventually either the TV or the remote froze and then no matter what button I pressed nothing would happen at all until I sat there a few second and tried again. I tried replacing the batteries and then power cycling the TV and remote as recommended on the VIZIO support site to no avail. Attempting to contact VIZIO they ask you to text, so I text them then they just gave me a number to call and sent me an email saying my case had been closed— why do you give the option to text if you just want people to call? At the end of the day, given the issues I’ve experienced with this TV as well as VIZIO’s apparently contradictory or otherwise nonexistent customer support, I will be returning this TV.
Additionally, after doing further research on this particular model, it appears to just be an upgraded V series (hence the low price). However, if you can get the unit to actually work as intended without the issues I experienced, the picture quality and user interface are great. It does have only 3 HDMI ports which, if this was a true M series, would not be the case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love on the top floor of an apartment building so I thankfully got away with needing just one camera... unless somebody climbs up a flat wall to the third floor. Otherwise, this works fantastic and covers the exact angle I need so I can check on the inside of my home while I'm away.
I wish it wasn't battery operated, though, or at least had an internal lithium-ion that was rechargeable and sent a notice to your phone when it needed to be charged. I've invested in rechargeable batteries, though, so as long as this lasts 2-3 years the extra investment in the rechargeable batteries kit should pay off.
My other gripe is that I wish additional individual cameras won't so pricey and that the app worked better over mobile data, but that could be network related.

The answer is... It depends. I got this for free after purchasing a Blink XT camera and Alexa is, well, nifty. The concept of the Echo Dot to me originally came off as a novelty for people who wanted to be TeChY and tReNdY, but after having the device for a couple weeks, I see some utility to it. But also some issues.
First off, the voice recognition is maybe a tad superior compared to Google and looks like a genius compared to Siri (I have Android, my fianceé has Apple. We... Have settled our differences). Asking questions while studying without having to reach for my phone feels ~oh so good~ and setting reminders, alarms, and... Well, that's pretty much all I've done so far. Because, well, the issues...
The setup tutorial tells you how to connect your phone properly to the Alexa app. There's a problem, though... The directions don't match the interface. "Scroll to the bottom of the home page and select settings then..." but the home page only has tooltips for teaching Alexa things, and nothing in the settings has revealed much luck either. Which is a shame, because I'd love to have an easier way to send texts while cooking/cleaning/studying, etc. The other downside is more or less a fault of my own, though: I don't really NEED this. I don't have smart devices throughout my home like an advanced security system. I could upgrade my existing one, but the one I have works, and there's little benefit to be had. I could install smart light bulbs or even outlets, but the technology is still fairly new and the benefits of minor convenience wouldn't warrant the entry costs.
So where does that leave me at the end of the day? Well, if you're a tech savvy person with multiple smart devices and home systems and have some disposable income to get everything connected, then I wish you the best in your endeavours and recommend you get this! The build quality is robust, the speaker is adequate, the microphone will pick your voice up from the next room, and the accuracy is great. But if you don't have the time/money/know-how, then perhaps you can still buy it if you can get it for a reasonable price. It is neat to have, and if you can get it fully connected to your phone, it's a great little assistant.

My fianceé and I selected this router/modem for the following reasons:
1. Meets Cox requirements.
2. 5ghz bandwidth is excellent for our phones and other devices.
3. One single unit helps us save space and keeps my work area where my main desktop PC is located tidy.
4. Affordable.
5. Easy setup, Cox contractor had this unit attached to the network and good to go in 10 minutes. GUI was simple to navigate and I was able to configure it to my liking easily. Advanced controls are useful and, living in an apartment complex, I was able to switch to less populated channels and saw a ~4% increase in Wi-Fi download speed and a 5ms drop in ping. If you have a larger household with more people, the advanced controls are also useful.

Reasons we (or at least I) don't like it:
Unit is temperamental when resetting it. We went out of town and we unplug all unnecessary electronics when leabkng, including this. Plugging it back in after 3 nights out of town and it didn't want to establish an uplink with the ISP. Turning it off then on again resolved it, but then the connection wasn't stable. After performing a hard reset, everything went back to normal but I had to go in and reconfigure my settings (password, channels, etc) again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi, purchase this tv today from Best Buy. I’m having a lot of trouble with the remote. The buttons don’t respond. Sometimes volume up turns volume down and vis versa. Any suggestions? Thanks
I am having the exact same issue. Vizio customer support had me “power cycle” the remote and the TV and it didn’t help, so they sent me a brand new remote— new remote, new batteries, same issue. When using controls on my phone, like for the YouTube app, or using the physical buttons on the back of the TV there is no issue. I don’t know if it’s just a horrible remote design or if the IR receiver on the TV is bad, but I’m returning this TV.

Will this be compatible with a Verizon modem?
This is a combination router/modem that plugs directly into a coaxial cable (like what plugs into your TV tuner) provided by your internet service provider. This does not have to be attached to an additional router or modem. So long as Verizon (or Fios) supports it, or DOCSIS 3.0, you will be fine.
